Marmaray’s rail cars to come from South Korea
ANKARA - The Marmaray Project that provides an upgrade to the commuter rail system in the city, connecting Halkalı on the European side with Gebze on the Asian side, has seen the final agreement for the acquisition of the rail cars to be used in the project. The winner of the bid is Hyundai ROTEM.
Japanese PM visits Istanbul
The Japanese Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi and Turkish Transportation Minister Binali Yildirim visited the Marmaray Project platform in Istanbul together on Thursday. Yildirim said that Marmaray Project (rail system connecting European and Asian sides of Istanbul) was a very important project, noting that Turkey wanted to carry out similar projects. Yildirim added that his government aimed to cooperate with Japan in the area of ship construction.

Dassault Systèmes, elektrikli hava mobilitesi alanının bilinen isimlerinden Eviation Aircraft’ın, bulut ortamında 3DEXPERIENCE platformunu kullanarak, sıfır emisyonlu, tümüyle elektrikli bölgesel commuter (kısa mesafeler arası sefer yapan) uçağı Alice’in ilk prototipini iki yıl gibi bir süre içerisinde geliştirdiğini duyurdu.
