The leader of the opposition MHP Party, Devlet Bahceli, has sharply criticized the AKP-led administration for its stance in relation to PKK terror activities. Speaking before an assembly of MHP MPs from the Turkish Parliament (TBMM), Bahceli called for permission to be given to the Turkish military to pursue PKK terrorist forces over the border into northern Iraq. Bahceli also accused the AKP government of "ignoring" the attacks taking place on Turkish soil.
