Hillary Clinton'un hedefi ne?
ABD eski dışişleri Bakanı Hillary Rodham Clinton anılarını yazdı. Hilary Clinton'un anıları İngilizce “Hard Choices” (Zor Seçimler), Almanca “Entscheidungen” adıyla aynı anda yayınlandı. Almanca tercüme için İngilizce baskısı bekledi. Çeviri esnasında kitabın içeriği hakkında dışarıya hiçbir bilgi sızmaması için “Top Secret” (Çok gizli) kuralı uygulandı. Almancası Droemer yayınevi tarafından piyasaya çıktı.
Hillary Clinton kitabında Türkiye'yi anlattı
Eski ABD Dışişleri Bakanı Hillary Clinton’ın uzun süredir beklenen anıları “Zor Seçimler” dün satışa çıktı. Kitapta Türkiye’ye geniş yer ayıran, 2016’da Demokratların en güçlü başkan aday adaylarından Clinton, Erdoğan ve Ankara Hükümeti hakkında alışılmadık açıklıkta yorumlarda bulundu.

With the collapse of the Soviet Union, five Turkic nations became independent and Turkey postured to fill the power vacuum. Mostly, this backfired. Eager for independence, these new nations did not want to be patronized and Turkey was ill prepared to understand the power dynamics and social affinities in these countries. Moreover, domestic political and economic problems consumed Ankara throughout the 1990s, making Turkey a confusing partner to deal with. The country’s coalition government changed on a yearly basis, each with a different vision for the region: A Turkish nationalist party representative would travel with a pan-Turkic agenda while a member of Parliament from an Islamic party would advocate religious unity.

Let’s state the obvious once again. There cannot be any excuse or explanation for the massacre Israel committed in Gaza. In Turkey a deep-rooted reaction is being shown to this crime against humanity in Gaza. The point I would like to elaborate on is why the reactions in Turkey to this never ending madness were fiercer than that of Arab and Muslim countries?
