Aile İçi Şiddet Konferansı’nda konuşan BM Nüfus Fonu İyi Niyet Elçisi, Tiyatro Sanatçısı Demet Akbağ, kadınlara yönelik şiddete karşı erkeklerin bir hareket başlatmasını istedi. Hürriyet Gazetesi, BM Nüfus Fonu, CNN Türk ve Çağdaş Eğitim Vakfı’nın işbirliğiyle İstanbul’da düzenlenen ‘Aile İçi Şiddete Son 2005-Dünyadan Örnekler Konferansı’nın dünkü oturumunda Türkiye ve İngiltere’nin kadından sorumlu devlet bakanları, Hamburg Parlamentosu Başkan Yardımcısı ve BM Nüfus Fonu İyi Niyet Elçisi Demet Akbağ konuştu.
Birleşmiş Milletler Nüfus Fonu (UNFPA) Türkiye tarafından, kadına yönelik şiddet konusunda farkındalık oluşturmak ve şiddet yaşanması durumunda yardımcı olacak yeni bir uygulama geliştirildi. Amber isimli uygulama UNFPA İyi Niyet Elçisi Songül Öden tarafından tanıtıldı. Uygulama, ilk bakışta düz bir 'Regl Takvimi' olarak görünse de, gizli ikinci ekranı sayesinde konum takibi, acil durum mesajı gönderme, acil yardım hatlarını arayabilme gibi fonksiyonlara sahip.
#Birleşmiş Milletler Nüfus FonuCanlandırdığı her role izleyeni inandırıyor. Hep dertleri, sözü olan işlerde görüyoruz onu. Kendini şeffaf olarak tanımlıyor. Bazen empatinin içinde çok kaldığını söylüyor ve bu huyunu değiştirmek istiyor. Songül Öden’le buluştuk; evliliğini, projelerini, hayatı konuştuk: “Zaten mesleğim rol yapmak, neden normal hayatta da rol yapayım, çok yorucu olmaz mı?”
