Akaretler No: 35’te kapılarını açan Vision Art Platform’un ilk fiziki sergisi ‘No Room For A Door/ Kapıya Yer Yok’, mekânın amacına uygun olarak ‘kapı’ metaforunu ele alıyor. Mekânda tüm kapılar kalıcı olarak kaldırılmış, geçişlerin ve sınırların olmadığı bir mimari anlayış yaratılmış. Vision Art Platform kurucusu Hayrunnisa Taşyar, “Platform; mekân-sanat arasında yeni bir tür öneriyor. Buna yeni bir sanat ve kültür alanı diyebiliriz. Mekânın ruhunu yansıtan bir sergi hazırlamayı arzu ettik. İzleyicinin zihninde, onlar eşiklerden geçip giderken unuttukları, hatta kaybettikleri anıların canlanmasını istedik” diyor.

Vision Art Platform, video sanatını merkeze alan Senkron’a ‘Beyond Vision/Görünenin Ardında’ adlı çevrimiçi bir sergiyle katılıyor. 15 Nisan-15 Mayıs arasında gerçekleştirilecek sergide Gökhan Balkan, Mehmet Öğüt, Özgün Şahin ve SABO’nun çalışmaları yer alıyor.

In such cases, I resort to a virtual map, using my fingers to sketch Turkey’s surrounding regions: the Middle East, Europe, Black Sea, Mediterranean and Caucasus.
