Londra’da ‘Kurak Günler’ depremzedeler için gösterilecek
Londra’da uluslararası film platformu MUBI, Balıkarts ve The Match Factory’nin iş birliğiyle 2 Nisan’da saat 15.45’te Türkiye ve Suriye’deki depremzedeler yararına ‘Kurak Günler’ (Burning Days) filminin gösterimi yapılacak. Gösterimden elde edilecek gelirim tamamı ‘Choose Love’ adlı yardım kuruluşu aracılığıyla depremzedelere bağışlanacak.

Türk film festivali başlıyor
İngiltere’nin bağımsız tek Türk film festivali olan ‘4. Anadolu’nun Tadı – Türkiye’den Filmler Festivali’ (Taste of Anatolia – Films from Turkey, ‘TOA’) bu yıl 5-11 Kasım 2022 tarihleri arasında gerçekleştirilecek. Festivalde, gösterimler hem online hem de ilk kez TOA’ya ev sahipliği yapan Cambridge’den Londra’ya uzanarak İngiltere’de daha büyük bir izleyici kitlesiyle yeni filmleri buluşturacak. Festivalin direktörlüğünü Yeşim Güzelpınar üstleniyor.

Sener: Wine actually a symbol of tolerance
Abdullatif Sener, the AKP Minister of State who once wrote a poem about wine even though he does not drink it, re-interpreted the poem as a call for calm in Anatolia. “I have thought over what I meant when I said that I knew everything about wine except for its taste. The wine in my statement represents a culture of tolerance in Anatolia”, he said.
