The Turkish national team arrived home Thursday to a warm welcome from supporters after finishing in the top four in the Euro 2008 championship co-hosted by Switzerland and Austria. A convoy of supporters followed the bus carrying the team as it made its way to Istanbul’s Taksim Square where it was greeted by an enthusiastic crowd. A celebratory concert and fireworks show was held in the square in the team’s honor.
