Çinli otomotiv devi Chery’den fabrika mesajı: Türkiye’ye yatırımdan vazgeçmedik
Avrupa’daki ilk fabrikası için İspanya’yı seçen Çinli otomotiv devi Chery’nin bu adımı ‘Türkiye yatırımı kaçırdı’ olarak yorumlanmıştı. Chery’nin merkezi Wuhu’da sorularımızı yanıtlayan Chery Uluslararası Başkanı Zhang Guibing, yatırımdan vazgeçmediklerinin altını çizerek, “İspanya’da olması Türkiye’de olmayacağı anlamına kesinlikle gelmiyor. Bakanlıklarla görüşmelerimiz sürüyor. İspanya Avrupa’yı beslerken Türkiye’de olası bir fabrika hem Avrupa hem Ortadoğu’yu besleyecek bir merkez olabilir” dedi.

EU seek Turkey's advice over cartoon tensions
As the West seek guidance over how to improve relations with the Muslim world following the cartoon demonstrations, Turkish Foreign Minister Abdullah Gul has been invited by Austrian EU presidency to present ideas at an informal meeting in Salzburg next month. "The Turkish foreign minister has been invited to open a discussion on this theme at a meeting of foreign ministers on 11 March," Austrian presidency spokesman Nikola Johannes Donig said, according to Danish daily Politiken.
