İsmail Bey de parti mensubu olarak o programı kabul etmiştir. Ancak, anayasa çalışmaları gündemde iken şahsi görüşünü ortaya koymuştur. Laikliği ladinilik, din karşıtlığı gibi sunar ve uygularsanız elbette itirazlarla karşılaşırsınız” dedi. Erdoğan “Yeni anayasada İslami vurgu olmalı” görüşleri için de “Bunlar boş şeyler.
