Senenin sancılar çektiğim yazısına geldik. Bir yandan yine anlamadan koca bir sene geçti hissi var, diğer yandan da yeni yıl için bir sürü umut biriktirmeye başlamanın heyecanı filizleniyor bünyemde. Seçmesi ve derlemesi zor belki ama döndürüp durduğum, bu sene en çok dinlediğim yabancı albüm ve teklilerin 20 tanesini bu yazıda toparladım. Yeni yıl hepimize sağlık, mutluluk ve bol bol müzik getirsin dilerim.

Kaş and Meis meet to mark peace, friendship
KAŞ - People of Turkey’s coastal town of Kaş and the Greek island of Meis, two sister towns, come together once again to mark the friendship and brotherhood between them. The three-day Lycian-Kaş Culture and Art Festival raises hopes for peace and the high spirit of the event will live longer in the memories of the people.
Actress aims to build a bridge between Turkey and Chile
ISTANBUL - Chile is a long way from Turkey but exchange programs of various sorts can help bridge some of that geographical gap. One of those programs culminates in two prominent Chilean films, Machuca and B-Happy, which are showing at the Pera Museum. Starting with Pera was very useful and from there it will grow, according to young and attractive Chilean actress Manuela Martelli, who stars in one of the films.
All eyes on Sarıyer Attorney General’s Office on phone tapping
Doğan Media Group, or DMG, Vice President Soner Gedik paid a visit to Minister of Finance Kemal Unakıtan in his office in Ankara on January 28. The purpose of his visit was to state his objections to a portion of the report filed by a revenue officer from the Ministry of Finance on DMG accounts for the year 2002.
Teacher of expat teens ’lands’ en NASA institute
ISTANBUL - A historian and social anthropologist by training who has spent a quarter of her life as an expat, Sema Alpayta is this year's only Turkish participant in NASA's Aerospace Institute taking place later this month. She hopes to use her experience to help enrich the lives of the expatriate teenagers she teaches in Istanbul as well as the community.
