İstanbul, Mar 29 (DHA) – Conservationists claimed to have evidence to prove that Indochinese tigers are breeding in a Thai jungle, a silver lining for the survival of almost extinct subspecies.
Once ranging across most parts of Asia Indochinese tigers, now critically endangered with with only 221 members left, are thought to remain in Thailand and Myanmar.
Thailand conservation authorities and two private organisations published photographs of Indochinese tiger cubs, supported the scientific survey confirming the existence of the subspecies.
