Faik Kaptan / İstanbul, Sep 27 (DHA) – Istanbul New Airport, Air Traffic Control Tower and Technical Building Project has won the 2016 International Architecture Award from Architecture and Design Museum – Architectural Art Design and Urban Studies Europe Center.
IGA Airport Construction CEO Yusuf Akçayoğlu collected the award given by the The European Architecture Prize organisation in Athens.
Air Traffic Control Tower and Technical Building’s design, inspired by Istanbul’s historical heritage tulip flower, devised by Pininfarina and AECOM.
International Architecture Awards, worlds biggest and extensive architecture award program, is evaluating many projects such as skyscrapers, commercial buildings, urban plannings, in construction perfectionism, planning and sustainability and awarding the best in many projects different applications.
INA is distinguished with its compilation of cultural heritage, aesthetics and functionality.
