Google'dan Edward Gorey doodle'ı

22 Şubat 1925 yılında Chicago'da dünyaya gelen Edward St. John Gorey, 1953 yılından 1960 yılına kadar New York City'de yaşadı ve Doubleday Anchor Sanat Bölümü'nde okudu. Bram Stoker'ın Dracula, H. G. Wells'in The War of the Worlds ve T. S. Eliot'un Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats eserleri için özel illüstrasyonlar hazırladı.
