Turkish ‘Music-man’ nominated for 3 Grammy Awards

Famous Turkish ‘music-man’ and head of Atlantic Records has been nominated for Grammies in three separate areas. Ertegün was nominated for the ‘Best album of all time’ award, for producing on vinyl ‘Pure Genius’, a compilation of songs recorded by famous Jazz musician Ray Charles’ between 1952-1959. The Turkish ‘music-man’ is also a music Oscar nominee for categories, ‘Special Edition’ and ‘Best album notes’.
