The Bosphorus University Computer Engineering Department team has made its way into the quarter finals in the four-legged dog category at RoboCup 2006, held in Bremen, Germany. Despite losing the match against arguably the world’s leading computer company, the Bosphorus University Team was the only one out of the 24 teams in the World Robot Football Championships to score a goal against Microsoft, competing with the robodog named ‘Sony Aibo’. The 4-strong team from the Department of Computer Engineering at Bosphorus University aims to play in the final match of the RoboCup games.
