Turkey's 42nd Golden Orange Film Festival will be held in the southern Mediterranean city of Antalya as usual from September 24 to October 1, 2005. However, running alongside the prestigious Golden Orange Festival will be the First International Eurasian Film Festival giving the Orange Festival an international twist. An array of famous guests such as Michael Madsen, David Carradine, Peter O'Toole, Mathilda May, John Irwin, Woody Harrelson, Kiera Chaplin are expected to attend.

The honorary guest will be Kim Ki-Duk, one of the most prominent film directors of South Korea.

Films to be shown at the First Eurasia Festival are: ''Manderlay'' by Lars von Trier, ''The Bow-Yay'' by Kim Ki-Duk, ''Cache'' by Michael Haneke, ''Be With Me'' by Eric Khoo, ''Johanna'' by Kornel Mundruczo, ''Shangai Dreams'' by Wang Xiaoshuai, ''One Night'' by Niki Karimi, ''Sophia Scholl'' by Marc Ruthemund, ''Four'' by Ilya Khrzhanovsky, ''My Nikifor'' by Krzysztof Krauze and ''Fall of the Angel'' by Semih Kaplanoglu.

Sixteen films of Turkish directors will compete in the national contest. These films are as follows:

-''Derivative'' by Ulas Inac
