Marmaris International Maritime Festival starts today

President Ahmet Necdet Sezer will attend an opening ceremony to mark the The Marmaris International Maritime Festival in Marmaris, Wednesday. The president will arrive by a Turkish navy frigate and will be saluted by gunfire and "Man the rails". The inauguration will be followed by the festival parade, the opening of the Exhibition Hall and new indoor swimming pool.

Celebrity sportsmen and women will attend the reception at the Club Hotel Pineta. A concert by Kenan Doglu is listed as part of the festivities.
