Faralyalı appointed as head of Star TV

ISTANBUL - Begümhan Doğan Faralyalı, who undertook the founding of Kanal D television channel in Romania in 2007, is appointed as the executive board president of Star TV and also Vice President of Doğan TV Holding responsible from Star TV.
According to a statement by the Doğan Media Group, or DMG, which Hürriyet Daily News & Economic Review is a part of, Faralyalı started her new duty at Feb. 9. Star TV, Turkey’s first private television channel, became part of DMG at Nov. 15, 2005.
