Zorlu to sell electricity to retailer

ISTANBUL - Energy company Zorlu Enerji Elektrik Üretim said that its 97.2 percent subsidiary Zorlu Doğal Elektrik Üretimi signed an agreement with retailer Metro Cash & Carry to sell electricity.
In a statement issued to the Istanbul Stock Exchange, Zorlu Enerji details that its unit will sell annually 48mn kWh electricity to the retailer without providing financial details of the deal, which covers Metro’s 13 stores. Zorlu Doğal produces electricity from renewable sources such as hydropower and geothermal plants.
