Sarah Wilson, a 38 year-old British citizen wounded during the terrorist attack in Marmaris, said she considered the incident an unlucky one. "Terrorist attacks take place in England too. These types of incidents should not harm Turkey's image, because Turkey is a truly beautiful country".

Giving interviews to the Sun and Guardian newspapers with Peter Westmacott, the British Ambassador, at her side, Wilson had high praise for Marmaris emergency teams. "Nothing happened to my mother, my partner or my two children during the attacks. I would like to thank all those who came to our rescue."
