Nevin Seker who was photographed together with a woman in a Carsaf (Black fundamentalist cloth covering a woman thoroughly) at the Teachers’ Lodging in Gaziantep, spoke to Hurriyet.Seker was accompanying the woman wearing a Carsaf at the lodgings, where a daughter of a teacher was denied entry because she wore a modern dress, leaving her belly exposed. Seker, a housewife, said that “The woman wearing the Carsaf is Hatice Badak, the mother-in-law of my child. We were preparing to organize an engagement ceremony in the evening. We were going shopping.“We passed through the garden of the lodgings as a short-cut. We entered from the rear door of the plant and crossed through the garden.” Seker also gave Hurriyet the picture of the other woman, this time with an open face, wearing a scarf. �
