U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has agreed to be a guest on a popular talk show program during her visit to Turkey on March 7, media reports said on Wednesday.
Clinton, who is on a week-long trip to the Middle East and Europe, will appear as a guest on the program, "Haydi Gel Bizimle Ol" (Come and Join Us), broadcast on private NTV news channel, reports said.
The program is hosted by four Turkish female celebrities - journalist Cigdem Anat, actress Mujde Ar, author Pinar Kur and model Aysun Kayaci. Two guests join the four women in the program in which issues that top the country's agenda, including fashion, life style, scandals and some times politics, are discussed.
During her visit, Clinton will meet Turkish President Abdullah Gul, Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan and Foreign Minister Ali Babacan to discuss bilateral relations and regional issues.
Clinton's appearance on the program will provide some relief to her busy schedule. The issues that Clinton is expected to discuss with Turkish officials during her visit include Afghanistan, Iraq, the Middle East and the 1915 incidents.
She last visited Turkey as the first lady in 1999 with her husband former President Bill Clinton and their daughter Chelsea.
