The film, which was premiered at the 65th Venice International Film Festival, now joins the Cape Winelands Film Festival in the South African city of Cape Town. The film will compete in the festival’s world cinema section with 22 films.

The film was released Feb. 27 in Istanbul, this weekend in İzmir and will be released on April 24 in Ankara. Starring Gülçin Santurcıoğlu and Kaan Keskin, the film was produced and directed by Evci.

In the film, Mert and Selin live two lives, one at daytime and one at night, imprisoned in monotonous everyday life, where they each in their own way are observers of the world around them. Mert uses his days to photograph incidental passersby, while Selin is a withdrawn businesswoman. But slowly the outside world crowds in on them, first when someone breaks into their apartment while they sleep and later when they decide to take the important step of entering the world, daring to go on a road trip to the south.
