Two dead and one injured in car crash in Kadikoy

Two people are dead and one person was injured in a car crash that happened at 6.45 a.m. in Istanbul on Saturday. The car reared out of control by Kurbagalidere, near to the Fenerbahce Stadium in Kadikoy. The car mounted the sidewalk and continued through the wall and landed in the river Kurbagalidere. The front-half of the car became submerged in water. however, a passenger sitting in the back was able to escape. Sezer Gokce, the passenger who was able to get free was taken to Haydarpasa Numune Hopsital where he told doctors that there were two other people in the car. Emergency services were working to fish the car out of the water with a crane. After the car was pulled out of the river two more bodies were discovered dead. The bodies were taken to the morgue and have not yet been identified. The cause of the accident is not yet known.Â
