TUSIAD may welcome its first female head in late January

Arzuhan Dogan Yalcindag, the current head of the executive board of Dogan TV and Radio, has announced her candidacy to head up the influential Turkish Industrialists and Businessmen Foundation (TUSIAD). If she does wind up heading up TUSIAD, Arzuhan Dogan Yalcindag will be the first female head of the organization.
Other names expected to join her in leading TUSIAD this year are Ferit Sahenk, Halik Dincer, and Ethem Sancak.
The current head of TUSIAD, Omer Sabanci, has held his position for 3 years now, and will step down officially on January 25, when TUSIAD's general assembly votes in a new president.
