Turkish president ends his visit to Japan (UPDATED)

Turkish President Abdullah Gul arrived in Turkey on Sunday after completing his talks in Japan where he paid an official visit as the guest of Japanese Emperor Akihito.

"My talks with Japanese authorities focused on economic, commercial and cultural aspects of our bilateral relations and international developments. I also had the change of holding talks with executives of leading Japanese companies," Gul told reporters on Saturday, adding his visit to Japan would yield fruitful results in the coming days.Â
Gul met with Japanese Emperor Akihito, Prime Minister Yasuo Fukuda, Japanese Parliament's Upper House President Satsuki Eda and Speaker of Japanese House of Representatives Yohei Kono.Â
Gul also met with executives of Japanese companies which have investments in Turkey, and participated in Turkey-Japan Business Forum in Tokyo as well as Investment Forum in Osaka.
