Turkish plane crashes into lamp post at Istanbul's main airport

The rear wing of a passenger plane struck a lamp when it went off-hook from a push-back car at Istanbul's Ataturk Airport.

The Atlajet Airbus A-320, bound to Sulaymaniyah in Iraq carrying 56 passengers, sustained damage to the rear wing when it took down the lamp post on the apron as it prepared for take off at 11:45 p.m. (0945 GMT).
The passengers were removed from the damaged plane after the flight was cancelled and placed in a nearby hotel before being placed on a rescheduled flight, Anatolian Agency said.
No injuries were reported.
