Turkish investors invited to London for Olympic games

Brendan Dineen, director of the 2012 Games for Think London, the official foreign direct investment agency for London, told the Anatolian Agency he was visiting Turkey to inform Turkish businessmen about the 2012 Olympics and investment opportunities in London.

Many attached great interest in the tenders opened within the scope of the Olympics, Dineen said.

Companies could apply to tenders in the areas of construction, marketing and information technology through the Internet, he said. "Turkish companies can also participate in tenders. I think that Turkish construction sector is the lucky one in these tenders, because it is a completely competitive one," Dineen stated.

Turkish entrepreneurs would have great assistance if they applied to tenders for the 2012 Olympics, Dineen also said.

London will come alive when it hosts the summer 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
