Turkish high court cancels gendarme monitoring

Turkey's Supreme Court cancelled the High Criminal Court's decision which gives authority for country-wide monitoring to the Turkish gendarme forces. 

"No institutions can be given an authority that covers (monitoring) the whole country, considering the citizens of a democratic and constitutional state of Turkey as suspects," Turkish TV channels quoted the Court's decision.
