Turkish foreign minister to attend Gaza conference in Cairo

Turkish Foreign Minister Ali Babacan will attend an international conference on Gaza in Cairo, Egypt on March 2.

Turkish Foreign Ministry said on Tuesday that Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Aboul Gheit invited Babacan to participate in the conference on support to Palestinian economy for rebuilding of Gaza.   Â
The ministry said that the conference would be an important turning point for the rebuilding of Gaza Strip; and Babacan would attend the conference.
