Yasar Alacoglu, owner of a fishing company in the northern Turkish province of Rize, said that three Georgian coast guard boats violated their boat as they were fishing in the Black Sea on Feb.2.

"TheGeorgian authorities sequestrated our boat and arrested 25 crew members. They accused our fishermen of smuggling weapons to Abkhasia and trafficking illicit drugs as well as illegal fishing. These are totally baseless accusations.

"Our fishermen were trawling in Turkish territorial waters when they were arrested," he said.
