The OGG will maintain the right, belonging up to now to Turkish State Railroad Administration, for 36 years.     Â

The sale will be concluded after approval of the Competition Board and Privatization Administration Board and the positive view of the Council of State.
       Â
Celebi Holding's Business Development Chairman Umit Bozer said they were planning to invest $20 million after the signing of the contract. Bozer said they were negotiating with a foreign company but refrained from revealing the name of the company.

Bandirma Port is located on the southern shores of the Marmara Sea, about 101 kilometers (63 miles) from Istanbul and is a hub for bulk freight traffic in the region. The port has modern infrastructure with links to the main railway and highway system. The port has a grain-storage of 34,000 tons of capacity.

CEYNAK WINS BLACK SEA PORT

Ceynak, a Turkish logistics company, also won on Friday a tender to assume the operation rights of a port on Turkey's Black Sea coast.

The company offered 125.2 million USD for the 36-year deal for Samsun port, which belonged to Turkish State Railways.

The deal would still need a green light from Turkey's privatization authority and consent of the country's top administrative court.
