Turkish, Egyptian admirals meet in Turkey

ANKARA – Adm. Mohab Mameesh, chief commander of the Egyptian Naval Forces, paid a visit yesterday to Adm. Metin Ataç, commander of the Turkish Naval Forces, in Ankara.
"We will discuss the naval forces of two important east Mediterranean coastal countries," Ataç said during the meeting. Mameesh said that Turkish and Egyptian fleets were cooperating to maintain peace in their common seas.
