Turkish deputies open Syrian tourism season

DAMASCUS – Twenty-five Turkish deputies went to Syria with their wives for tourism purposes.

The members of the Turkey-Syria Parliaments’ Friendship Group, 13 from the Justice and Development Party, or AKP, and 12 from the Nationalist Movement Party, or MHP, will stay in Syria four days, visiting Aleppo, Hama, Humus, and Damascus. The group will also visit Syrian Prime Minister Naci Itri and Syrian Parliament Speaker Mahmud Abrash.Â
