The level of investment made by Turkish businessmen in Egypt has reached $1.2 billion, and provides employment for nearly 60,000 Egyptians, Zuhal Mansfield told in an interview.

Mansfield also said that the Egyptian government was ready to give full support to finding a solution to problems encountered by Turkish entrepreneurs doing business in the country.

The problems Turkish and Egyptian businessmen faced in gaining entry visas was recently solved thanks to the efforts of Turkish State Minister Kursad Tuzmen, during his recent visit, and his Egyptian counterpart Rachid Mohamed Rachid, Mansfield said.

Mansfield said that the cheap qualified labor force, low energy prices and the government's warm approach to foreign capital were the main advantages of doing business in Egypt.

"This opportunity should be evaluated well. The number of investments may increase even more in the coming days," she added.
