Turkey's Erdemir ends Borcelik partnership with Mittal

Eregli Demir Celik Fabrikalari TAS (Erdemir), Turkey's biggest steelmaker, announced that the company decided to end its agreement with Arcelormittal Ambalaj Celigi Co over flat steel producer, Borcelik, on Monday.

"Our company has decided to end the agreement it did with Arcelormittal Ambalaj Celigi Co. and Arcelor Packaging International SA and its partnership with Arcelormittal Ambalaj Celigi Co. over Borcelik, upon the executive boards September 11,2008 dated decision," the statement issued to the Istanbul Stock Exchange said.
Turkey's Oyak Group conglomerate bought Erdemir in a 2005 privatization.
