ISTANBUL - Representatives of more than 150 top universities and schools from around the world will visit four Turkish cities this spring as part of an annual education fair.
The fair will include a full program of free seminars by leading education experts on important current topics about studying abroad.
The 15th edition of the International Education Fairs Turkey or IEFT, will be first held March 27 and 28 at the Hilton Convention Center in Istanbul before continuing to Ankara on March 31, Adana on April 2 and İzmir on April 4.
Talks with schools
Participants will have the chance to speak with officials and counselors from universities, colleges and language schools about studying abroad. They will learn about registration requirements, scholarships, work and travel opportunities, bachelor, graduate and post-graduate programs, high school education and visa procedures from knowledgeable school representatives.
Members of the British Council; the German Academic Exchange Service, or DAAD; the American Embassy and Consulate; the Canadian Education Centre, or CEC, Network; the Australian Trade Commission, or Austrade; the Fulbright Scholar Program and other country and cultural consulates will also be on hand to give prospective students country-specific information. The Istanbul Rotary Club will also speak to students about their many scholarships as well as their summer and high school exchange programs.
