Turkey to train African countries on food production

Turkey will train Eastern and Western African countries, striving against hunger and poverty, on animal breeding and healthy food production.

Burkina Faso, Senegal, Mali, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Djibouti, Madagascar, Comoro Islands and Tanzania join the projects jointly prepared by Turkish Agriculture and Rural Affairs Ministry and Turkish International Development and Cooperation Agency (TIKA).

The three-year project also includes training on the fight against epidemic animal diseases, animal husbandry, production and marketing of animal and agricultural food, raising fish commercially and product marketing.
A promotion meeting will take place for the projects in August in Ankara.
