ANKARA - The Turkish Red Crescent has finished preparations for sending another 10 tons of food to Pakistan.
The food aid, which is part of Turkey's relief efforts to meet the needs of the 2 million Pakistani citizens displaced because of the conflict near Pakistan's Afghan border, will be sent to Islamabad by military cargo plane. Turkey earlier sent 10 tons of medicine and medical supplies and 10 tons of food on May 24 and June 3.
