Turkey pays attention to refugees, says UN official

NİĞDE – United Nations Refugee Agency High Commissioner official Keith Jordan said they were glad to see the attention Turkey pays to asylum seekers and refugees in the Aegean province of Niğde, one of the 30 provinces in Turkey where the refugees are hosted.
Jordan said Turkey is currently hosting 18,188 asylum seekers and refugees from around 50 countries, mainly from Iran and Iraq. A total of 361 refugees are in Niğde at the moment, Jordan said.
