Turkey, Gulf countries to sign free trade

MUSCAT- Turkey and the Gulf Cooperation Council, or GCC, are about to finalize the preparatory efforts to sign a free trade agreement, Engin Türker, Turkish Ambassador to Oman yesterday told the Anatolia News Agency prior to the 29th summit of GCC.
Türker said GCC, formed by six countries in the Persian Gulf wanted to be a single economic power and it aimed at introducing a single currency as of 2010.
