Turk fishermen accused of smuggling weapons

RIZE - Twenty-five Turkish fishermen who were arrested in Georgia after their fishing boat was sequestered by Georgian coast guard teams are accused of smuggling weapons and trafficking illicit drugs, said Yaşar Alacaoşlu, the owner of the fishing company the fishermen worked for.
"These are totally baseless accusations. Our fishermen were fishing in Turkish territorial waters when they were arrested," he said.
