Trabzon dialogue: family of dead priest meets with parents of killer

Santoro's family came from Italy, along with Cardinal Ruini, to help celebrate the life and mourn the death of Santoro, who was killed by 16 year old Trabzon resident O.A.. Before the mass in the Santa Maria Church began, O.A.'s mother and father arrived at the church to give their condolences to the mother and sisters of Santoro.
 
Also coming to the Santa Maria Church to wish Santoro's family well was Trabzon Mayor Volkan Canalioglu, who gave flowers to the priest's family, and told them how sorry he was for the events of last year.
