THY celebrates 10 years of flight to China

PEKING – A photography exhibition was held to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Turkish Airlines, or THY, flights to China. The exhibition, titled “Turkey from 1,000 feet,” opened in Chinese capital of Beijing on Friday.

The exhibition contains 22 aerial photos by the artist, THY Cape Town station director Alp Alper. The artist started the project in 1999 and used a Cessna 172, helicopters, hot air balloons and a paraglide to shoot the photos.
