TAV wins three new awards

ISTANBUL - TAV Airports Holding has been awarded three "Investor Relations Awards," organized for the first time in Turkey with the cooperation of Thomson Reuters and Acclaro.
TAV was awarded prizes in the following categories: Best Investor Relations by CEO Award, Best Investor Relations Web Site and Best Investor Relations Officer.
Charles Ross, managing director of Acclaro and founder of Turkey’s First Investor Relations Awards, said these awards mark the first step "in a process that we hope will propel Turkey, its listed companies, its financial institutions and its financial expertise into a position of regional dominance."
Major representatives from the Turkish business world participated in the event that gave awards in eight categories. TAV chief executive and president Sani Sener, who was awarded second prize in the Best Investor Relations by CEO category, said, "We are proud to be rewarded in three categories in the contest held for the first time in investor relations, as only two years have passed since our public offering. The awards we have received on behalf of our 11,000 employees are the best payoff for our investors."
TAV won first prize in The Best Investor Relations Web Site category and TAV’s Investor Relations Manager Nursel İlgen was awarded second place in the Best Investor Relations Officer category. "We are motivated to take our practices to a higher level each year as specific standards are defined by the Investor Relations Award," she said.
