Suspicion of 'Deep State'

There are suspicions behind the tension that occurred in the mosque of the Turkish minority of Greece during the shooting of a TV serial. There are suspicions of a “Deep State” behind the tension, which raised when a Greek actress wondered in the mosque half naked. Tursish-origin Greek Parliament Ilhan Ahmet told Hurriyet that “This incident smells bad.”Ilhan Ahmet said that “First of all, the serial is not related to West Thrace. The scenario has no relationship with the Sahin village which is 36 km away from Iskece and on the mountain. This village has a special feature and everyone knows that it is a conservative community. The Alpha film crew choose the religious holiday for its shooting. When the actors entered the mosque half naked, the Turkish Head Consul in Gumulcine (Komotini) was attending the religious prayers in the village. The residents of the village revolted when they saw the actress wandering in the mosque with a fur coat revealing her under wear. Following a quarrel, police came and took the crew to the police station. Ahmet said “The Greek government behaved very sensitively towards the incident, Deputy Spokesman Evangelos Antonaros made a written statement calling on for respect to religions.  The 8-man crew brought to the Iskece Prosecutor’s Office was released later on. Whether the crew will be sued, is unclear at the moment. Mihalis Yanatos, one of the actors of the film had played in the anti-Turkish Midnight Express film. �
