ISTANBUL - The Point Hotel Barbaros will provide a breath of fresh air in Istanbul’s hotel industry with its "Arch-Tech" concept that combines contemporary art and interior architecture with state-of-the-art technology.
Having made a successful series of accomplishments in the tourism industry over the past two decades, Özbek Turizm presents a new urban-hotel approach with the Point Hotel Barbaros in Istanbul’s Esentepe district, its third hotel in the city.
The Point Hotel Barbaros will create 300 jobs during a recruiting process that is expected to last until May. The hotel has been described as a venue where modernism meets culture, contemporary art and lifestyle.
With its 210 rooms, 52 of them executive style, and a 300 square-meter King suite, the 21-story hotel is designed to provide maximum comfort for its guests, both business travelers and those traveling for pleasure. The prominent location of the hotel in the city center will allow for extremely easy transportation in a metropolis where traffic is a major problem.
The Point Hotel Barbaros facility will include international chain restaurants, a 1,800- square-meter fitness center, a spa, a semi-Olympic indoor swimming pool and a helicopter landing pad. With it extraordinary concept, it is sure to become a new meeting point in Istanbul, an ideal choice for business meetings, conferences and organizations.
After a long day
The 150-square-meter Technologic Game Center will be one of the largest in Turkey, and the world, and will provide a way to relax after a long and intense working day. In an exclusive cooperation with Point Hotel Barbaros, Microsoft has undertaken an initiative to put state-of-art game technologies at the disposal of hotel guests.
In addition to 11 meeting halls, with sizes ranging from 30 square meters to 200 square meters, the hotel will be capable of hosting up to 800 attendees in its 900-square-meter ballroom.
