Spanish theater troupe attracts Adana locals

Performing at the Sabancı International Adana Theater Festival, a Spanish group called Comediants put on their show, "Genies of Fire," which contained light and fire shows, in front of thousands of Adana locals, who watched the event on the Taşköprü Bridge on the Seyhan River.

A giant dragon blowing breath of fire, actors wearing colorful costumes and other model animals were a few factors in the show.

"That show is a result of festival's aiming to get on the streets," a statement released from the festival's organization said. That aim was seemingly fulfilled when about 5,000 people gathered to watch the event.
