Several people were injured when two trains collided in Turkey's eastern province of Sivas on Wednesday, Anatolian Agency reported.
The crash involved a passenger train and a freight train, the report said.
No details were immediately available.
Nine people died when a passenger train derailed in western Turkey in January and in July 2004, 37 people were killed when a newly-inaugurated high-speed train derailed in the northwest of the country.
