ISTANBUL - Sabancı Holding said full-year net income in 2008 rose 23 percent to 1.19 billion Turkish Liras ($750 million), in a written statement Friday.
Sabancı was expected to earn 1.28 billion liras in the year, according to the median estimate in a Bloomberg survey of 15 analysts. Sabancı, a diversified company, is one of the two largest Turkish conglomerates established in 1967. Its global partners include well-known names such as Bridgestone, DuPont, Bekaert, Philip Morris, Kraft, Toyota, Danone, Carrefour, Heidelberger Zement, IBM, Koch-Saba, International Paper and Arcadia.
